I think this book is a great read and is VERY important to unraveling the ending of the series (if you are trying). The birth of Mordred to me, was extrememly unexpected, but in another way, known all along (aren't all things in the dark tower, proof that it is real.) The only thing I didn't like about this book was the fact that it is only a day long. Most books are over a few months time but this happened quickly, which ruins the patience mood that I love from the gunslingers. Then of coarse, I hated Mia. Great stroy but made me as angry as Detta Walker did in DTII. The good thing in this book is that the bad thing happends (as in real life) Mordred, son of the last gunslinger, is born.
And all things fall.
