The following poetry (with the exception of The TURTLE and The BEAR) were created by myself, Anthony Schwethelm, and were inspired by the aforementioned poems of The Guardians by Stephen King. I had something pretty good going with the poetry of The LION and The SNAKE, but after thinking it over and studying it carefully, they really didn't measure up to the creative guidelines set by King's first two pieces (on which of course is how I based my work on the other Guardian poetry). But I figured I should still leave in the graphics I intended to use for these just as a place holder until I could get them perfected. I only hope that my own renditions of poetry for The Guardians can live up to the standards that Stephen King himself would be proud of. I humbly present my work for your viewing pleasure.

Oh, and for those of you who are wondering, all 12 Guardians of the Beam are as follows: Turtle, Bear, Hare, Fish, Bird (Eagle), Rat, Snake, Lion, Horse, Bat, Wolf and Elephant.
